BEACON’s mission is to work in alliance with families, early intervention programs and school systems to build essential life skills among children with Pervasive Developmental Delay (PDD), Autism, developmental disorders and challenging behavior.

In order to achieve these goals BEACON staff, unite the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with contemporary work in family life, communication, social and play skill development, community membership, school inclusion, and academic instruction. Our standards for determining success include the evaluation of objective evidence of the acquisition, generalization and maintenance of skills, as well as assessments of the qualitative aspects of an inclusive lifestyle of the child and their family.
